Major Headache, and Bosses Mad

All is not good here at Mac Productions HQ, and The Bosses are very mad.

There was a Systems failure that caused our main hub to be taken offline for a few days, the result was that all the drives had to be replaced. The problem is that nothing was backed up, so we lossed virtually all our stock videos and anything else that was shot. That also means the Top Secreat Project.

The Tech Boys have had their asses chewed out for three days stright, and there is talk that the head of the tech department may be replaced.

The only person that seems uneffected by this is NASCARGoose.

The only good thing to come of this month so far, is that we recived a new camrea, and that will replace what we were using before as our front line camrea.

Also has anyone seen Grim, nobody has been able to contact him.

Its Christmas Time

Its Christmas time here at Mac Productions HQ, and things have become a little slow, since all most everyone has gone home early for the holiday.

Filming has been halted for now, since as i have already pointed out, almost everyone has gone home. That includes Grim, or at least thats what we believe because nobody is able to find him.

NascarGoose, AKA The New Guy, is around here somewhere, helping people get his blog ready for the 2011 Nascar racing season, as well as trying to recruit people to help him out with the other forms of Racing. 


Yesterday was a big headache for everyone because we lost power to half our work area. Luckily our tech boys didn't lose power, and they are currently working over time  to see if we lost any info and if they can retrieve it if we did lose anything.

The highlight of the month so far, not including Christmas which is in 18 or so days, was the local Christmas Parade. It's not like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, but it's great all the same. 

Top Secret!

There are talks of  a Top Secret project going gone on here at Mac Productions. Of course The Bosses are being tight lipped about it.

Though the camera department has been sent out the past few days to get certain shots, but nobody knows about what since they aren't allowed to say.

However i've seen classified information that calls the project, TOP SECRET PROJECT XXX

Oddly thats all that was in the folder.

The Greatest Party of the Century

Well If you didn't guess it, i went to Dracula's Party last night, after i finished work that is.

It was one heck of a party, it wasn't over til like Two, Thee in the morning Transylvania time. Us "Monsters" know how to throw a party. LOL.

The best part of the day, next to the party, was that i scared four people, that was three more then last year.

Nutz, we are down again.

Sorry its been a long time since our last update, things have been really busy around here at Mac Productions, So busy that the Tech Department hasn't had the time to update their shows.

But this update doesn't bring very good news, i fear.

Due to a battery problem (or lack of batteries) in our main filming camera, we are unable to film at this current time. With our very limited budget (again lack there of), we are hoping that our nice creditors will give use enough money to buy some extra ones tomorrow, or sometime next week, so we can finish filming the second Grim Reaper episode.  

We were hoping to get some filming done with Grim before tomorrow, his busiest day of the year, though that seems to have gone down the drain.

The problem is that the main camera takes three AAA batteries. We use two rechargeable batteries and one non-chargeable. I'm sure they say not to do that, but our main camera is, for a lack of a better term, a piece of crap and won't turn on with three rechargeable batteries. And due to buying a new main camera is near 90 bucks, far more then our creditor will allow us to borrower, we are kind of in a pickle.

This Just In......A New Mac Productions Logo.

We here at Mac Productions though something was missing, we couldn't figure out what it was, until we looked at other production companies, then we noticed what we were missing. A Logo.

So here it is Our Logo.

Sure it's not much, but we feel it does the trick. Anyway if you see this logo at the end of any film then you know its made by us, except for the Animations because they are uploaded right from the site they are made from, so remember if you see this Logo then you know it is a Genuine Mac Productions Film.

Back In Business!!!!!!

Yep, The Tech Boys found a new editing system the other day, we were told to sit on it a few days by The Bosses in case it didn't pan out.

Well it did, so filming for Grim has been restarted, and today was the first day Grim has been on set. Can't really say how it went, your going to have to ask Grim about that.

But anyway, Mac Productions is back up and running after a few days of being shut down. Hopefully we won't have to go though something like that again.

Update!

Well, according to our Tech Department two of the replacement editing systems they found has failed their tests. One right out failed, the second failed but said could be used if need be.

From what i'm told it is our funding, or lack there of, that caused one system to fail. Though they are confident that they will find something that we will be able to use.

On another note, The Bosses, have giving the go ahead to another project. It was highlighted in an earlier post. It is an animation series, called Obama and Bush. The first episode was show cased in the earlier post, the second will be shown soon, it went through final review this afternoon.

The Tech boys are proud of it, since they were the ones who discovered how to make it while trying to find other editing options. They are said to be coming up with another series or two, which are suppose to be getting the green like from the bosses when they are developed.

Behind the Scenes With Grim #3

Well i walked into Mac Productions studio's yesterday, to see if we were going to be shooting any scenes for my second episode, and i swear everyone was acting as if someone had stolen trade secrets or something.

Everyone was going crazy, it wasn't until i had a meeting with the producer that i learned that the editing equipment was broken and until it could be fixed or another way to edit could be found there wouldn't be any filming.

Now i was momentarily pissed because i took my time and went to the studio, when they could have just called me and told me what was up and not to come in instead.

Anyway now i'm kind of worried because my favorite time of the year, any my most busiest, is coming up and i wanted to get some filming done before then.

If you haven't guessed by now, i'm talking about is Halloween.

Hopefully i'm going to get invited to Dracula's party this year. He banned me from it last year because they year before i supposedly broke into his helicopter (The DracCopter as he calls it) and tried to land it on Frankenstein and his wife.

I did do that, i won't deny that now, but i did deny it then. But come on, nothing REALLY happen, unless you count the thousand dollars worth of damage to the helicopter, wait DracCopter, and Frankenstein and his wife becoming short circuited after they jumped into the pool to get out of my way. The last thing though wasn't my fault really, i mean who has a pool open in the fall anyway?

Granted everybody at the party are part of the Undead, but i mean i still shouldn't have been banned from last years party. I mean Angel and Spike were invited and they are Dracula's ARCHENEMIES, so if he could invite his two archenemies then he could have invited me.

Anyway, i'm getting away from myself, where was i? Oh yes now i remember.

Well today i hear a rumor that the Tech Department may have found a new way to edit film and are testing to see how it works, if this new way passes the test, i'm told that we can start filming soon. So i'm hoping that the thing passes the test.

Today while trying to find a new way to edit our videos, the Mac Productions tech department stumbled upon a website called xtranormal, so we decided to give it a try and see how it works. If people like what we created, then we will probably do more in the future.

Fliming has been SUSPENDED Until Farther Notice

We here at Mac Productions regret to inform you that filming of Grim Reaper and any other projects are Suspended until farther notice.

No it has nothing to do with Grim, or any lawyers for him or us. There is currently a problem with some of our equipment that currently makes us unable to edit any film we have shot.

We are trying to trying hard to fix the problem, That doesn't mean that we aren't looking for other ways to edit or stuff.

We are truly sorry to all are fans who were waiting for the next episode of Grim Reaper.

Behind the Scenes With Grim #2

Well Here i am again, The Grim Reaper.

I'm waiting for Filming to start, Hurricane Earl is long gone now, and filming for my show hasn't started yet. I have no idea what the hold up is, but i bet its equipment trouble. I swear the people here at Mac Production are worse then those who run the LIRR. That's the Long Island Railroad for those who are stupid enough not to know that.

Crap, their going to kill me, oh wait i'm already dead, because i just hit publish post and i wasn't done yet. Oh well when your almost a million years old and have just learned to use the computer its ok to have a few screw-ups, right?

The weather is nice and partly cloudy, almost how i like it, but it says that its 80 degrees out side, can someone please tell me how that is possible when its almost all cloudy out?

Anyway thats all the time i have for now, since they could start filming at any time, so have fun and i'll see ya when i see ya.

Most Likey we will add a Show

Me and Teddy have talked about, and have come to an agreement about adding another show to the Mac Productions line up. The Show does not have a title yet, or maybe we do have a title and just don't want to unveil it yet, one never knows.

Next to naming a show we also need a star of it, and that takes time, though we do know somebody we can call on to do it. The new show will be different from Grim Reaper and so we need different equipment, which we may have to borrow from someone else in order to make it happen.

Anyway we'll keep you posted.

In other news, due to Hurricane Earl we have suspended any filming plans we had for Grim Reaper. We were going to film a few scenes this weekend with Grim but due to the Hurricane and the unpredictability of what it is going to do, we felt that it was in the best interest and safety of all Mac Productions personal to Suspend all schedule filming until further notice.

Tossing around other ideas.

While waiting for the details with Grim Reaper to be hammered out, we here at Mac Productions are busy looking at other ideas for things to do.

In the last 24 hours we have come up with two other ideas for shows, then we merged them into one idea. Which sounded very good.  Though we aren't sure about the fine details as of yet.

We also heard from the Hurricane Center that Tropical Storm Earl, is now a Hurricane and could be a few hundred miles off Long Island by next Friday, or it could hit us they say they are never 100% certain with the tracking of storms. So that may put a halt to any production plans with Grim Reaper, should we get the deal finalized by then.

I am happy to see that Grim Reaper has started to follow the "Gentlemen's Agreement" we have with him and did his first Blog, which should have been titled "The First Behind The Scenes with Grim Reaper", but since it was the first time ever in his million years of life that he has used a computer we let the titling slide for now.

Well i guess thats all i have to report for now, hopefully we can get the deal with Grim done and shoot some scenes before any storms come a blowing, so until next time.

Hey, This is the Grim Reaper. Yeah, Yeah the "Angel Of Death", "Death", or "The sentient entity of Death". Why can't people get over that stuff, really kill joy at parties.


As part of this "Gentlemen's Agreement" i have with the people at Mac Productions, i have to do blog about what happens behind the scenes.


Well i just got done with one of my around the world trips, and let me tell you, when you hear that people bribe me for the life they ain't lying . My Bank Account has gotten about a Billion Dollars bigger after this last trip. LOL.


Just don't tell the Mac Production people, otherwise they may try and offer me less perks.......oops......... Guess i'm going to have to visit everybody who read that last part. again with the LOL.


Anyway, right now i have some free time, and i am hoping that once the lawyers get all the technical stuff done, that i can get some taping done. Who knew that when working with the "Angel Of Death" there was so much stuff that has to be worked out.


Oh and i heard that "The Grinch" is coming to an end, i guess he heard that i was coming and didn't want to mess with me. Either that or his small size brain couldn't keep up with filming a show.

Anyway i have to go, even Death needs his beauty sleep, yeah i said beauty sleep, what are you going to do about it.

Trying to get the Grim Reaper to do more.

We have been in long talks with the Grim Reaper to do a few more shows, but the problem with being the Angel of Death is that your always so busy. But somehow we have reached an Gentlemen's agreement for Mr.Reaper to come back and do a few more shows of the series that is named after him.

The one sticking part though, is that he doesn't want his voice recorded. Lets hope that the Gentlemens agreement is good enough for Mr.Reaper.
